This man, Dick Hoyt, and his son, Rickie, compete together in the grueling Iron Man Triathalon in Hawaii every year. The father swims 2.4 miles in the ocean pulling his son (physically disabled, but mentally alert) behind him. Then they ride 112 miles around the Big Island together on their bike, and then Mr. Hoyt pushes his son 26.2 miles in his chair to the finish line — all in one day!
It’s a great picture of our utter dependence on God and His outlandish, crazy love for us.
